Mungkin metode Iqra` tingkat tertinggi dari para Masyayikhul-Ulama yang mereka pakai”.

Junit menyahut: “Mereka seperti tidak mendapat rahmat dari Allah. ’Maka disebabkan rahmat dari Allah-lah kamu berlaku lemah lembut terhadap mereka’ [1] (Ali Imron: 159). Yang ini bilang asal orang ber syahadattain ia menjadi Islam, yang di sana sudah menjalankan Rukun Islam masih di tuduh kafir-kafir”.

Gagah dan Ikhlas Berhijrah

“Mbah Sot kemudian mengobrol panjang dengan anak-anak muda yang gagah perkasa itu, dan sesudahnya mereka berteman sangat akrab. Bahkan mereka hadir di beberapa tempat di mana Mbah Sot mengobrol dengan cucu-cucunya Mujahidin. Dua kalangan ini menjadi tersambung dan bersahabat, padahal bertahun-tahun sebelumnya mereka dipisahkan jauh oleh kondisi batin di antara mereka”

Kata Brakodin, ketika menceritakan itu Mbah Sot menyebut dua ayat yang menyangkut anak-anak muda tiang-tiang masa depan Negara itu. Yang pertama, “Sesungguhnya Allah tidak mengubah keadaan sesuatu kaum sehingga mereka mengubah keadaan yang ada pada diri mereka sendiri. Dan apabila Allah menghendaki keburukan terhadap sesuatu kaum, maka tak ada yang dapat menolaknya; dan sekali-kali tak ada pelindung bagi mereka selain Dia.” [1] (Ar-Ro’d: 11).
Kedua, ”Dan orang-orang yang berhijrah karena Allah sesudah mereka dianiaya, pasti Kami akan memberikan tempat yang bagus kepada mereka di dunia. Dan sesungguhnya pahala di akhirat adalah lebih besar, kalau mereka mengetahui.” [2] (An-Nahl: 41). Gaya Iqra`nya Mbah Sot seperti Ustadz.

Mbah Sot, kata Brakodin, sangat bangga kepada Kaum Muda Mujahidin itu seluruhnya. Sebab mereka sudah membuktikan secara nyata dan penuh keberanian untuk mengubah nasib mereka. Mbah Sot mendoakan semoga Allah tidak menghendaki keburukan apapun atas hidup mereka yang penuh pengorbanan itu.

Bahkan dalam banyak segi, Mbah Sot menemukan dan membuktikan dengan mata, telinga, hati, dan akalnya sendiri bahwa berkat keikhlasan hijrah mereka, sejauh ini Allah benar-benar memberikan “tempat yang bagus” kepada mereka.
